We’re dog friendly so your four-legged friends are always welcome in the bar area, perfect to visit after a long walk. We have events and party spaces available to hire that are ideal for celebrating a special birthday or anniversary. NEW DISHES
Book your table
There’s something new on the menu this autumn, and it’s worth popping in for. Brand new comfort food dishes have joined the line-up, each one a proper plateful.
Fancy something a bit special? Try our Grilled fillet of seabass & garlic prawns, with sautéed potatoes, buttered greens and parsley cream. Or go cosy with our Slow braised minted lamb Henry, all bubble & squeak, honey glazed root veg and gravy. Looking for something lighter? Our Nourish bowl has you covered, packed with rice, edamame beans, broccoli, avocado and pink pickled onions in a honey & soy dressing, with grilled chicken or griddled halloumi if you fancy.
And of course, great value never goes out of fashion. Our Cosy menu is back too, two courses for 16.95 or three for 19.95, served Monday to Friday from 2pm. And our Pub Lunch menu is served Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 5pm, for something lighter in the middle of the day.

PUB LUNCH
Lunch, sorted. Pick two mains for 21.95, or go for a hot sandwich or a classic sarnie with skinny fries and coleslaw from 9.95. Served Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 5pm.
Cosy menu
Settle in with something comforting. Two or three courses, from Bubble & squeak potato cake to Wexford chicken and Sticky toffee pudding. Served Monday to Friday from 2pm.
Burger Monday
A Monday done right sets the tone for the week ahead. Start off the week with us and enjoy any of our pub burgers paired with a drink on us*. It’s the perfect excuse to skip the washing up, settle in at the pub and set yourself up for a great week ahead. We’ll fire up the grill and have the beer tapped. See you at the bar.

Buy any of our homemade pies from our main menu on a Tuesday and receive a free drink.

Chippy Friday
There’s only one way to see off the week in this part of the world. A proper plate of fish and chips. A Friday tradition we’ve kept for years. We don’t mess about with the classics. You’re getting fresh fish in a crisp batter, made with our own JW Lees ale, served exactly as it should be. Since a good meal deserves a good pint, your first drink is on us* every Friday when you order a large fish and chips.
